Alexandre Fraser acquired the seigneuries of Rivière-du-Loup, Témiscouata and Madawaska in 1802. He bought this home, which belonged to the Donahue family, in 1834 to turn it into his new seigniorial manor. It belonged to the Frasers until 1983! Many visitors had the opportunity to stop here, especially in recent years when the manor served as a summer home.
