A hotel with many large windows.

The hotels in Notre-Dame-du-Portage drew inspiration from the American concept of summer living: they were built very close to the beach. So close, in fact, that some would be splashed by the big waves during the highest tides. Sleeping with the window open, guests could fully enjoy the salt air and the sound of the waves.
